Copenhagen is widely known for its distinctive, historical architecture and bike-friendly streets. The city is also home to some long standing waterways such as the harbour area of Nyhavn. Not far from the city lie many picturesque beaches, with some even offering views out to nearby Sweden.

Lochaber Chamber of Commerce is located in Fort William, the largest town in the Lochaber area. The area of Lochaber has a variety of stunning locations from the mountains of Glencoe to the beaches of Arisaig on the West Coast. Due to this variety of landscape, there are opportunities for adventure in many different forms, from the highest mountain in the UK to the length of the coastline.

Momentum Consulting run their operation in Leitrim, Ireland. The county of Leitrim, named after the town, lies in the North of Ireland and is home to some spectacular scenery. The area has plenty of opportunity for water sports with lakes, rivers and coastline. There is an abundance of countryside to explore, from hidden waterfall trails to the mountain edge of O’Rourke’s Table.

Tallinn University
Tallinn University School of Natural Sciences and Health is located in Estonia’s capital city of Tallinn. The city is located in the Baltic Sea area and has around 46km of coastline, perfect for a variety of water sport activities. The old town of Tallinn is a UNESCO World Heritage site due to its exceptionally well preserved Medieval architecture. The city has a great combination of nature amongst the classic buildings with 40 square kilometres of green areas to enjoy.
Varna Chamber of Tourism
Varna Chamber of Tourism is located in Varna which lies on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast. The city is home to a lengthy beach to relax on and a large park to enjoy nature. Due to its place on the coast, the city is also host to ports and a naval base. Bulgaria’s largest Roman baths are located in the city centre and the area surrounding the city contain many cultural heritage sites.
University of the Highlands and Islands – West Highland College
The University of the Highlands and Islands has college centres in some spectacular locations across the Highlands. Our partners are located in the University’s Centre for Recreation and Tourism Research in the West Highland College campus in Fort William. The town of Fort William lies at the foot of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK, with views across Loch Linnhe. The area surrounding Fort William is host to a large number of adventure tourism activities such as mountain biking, climbing, skiing, walking and boating.
